Nickel Alloy Wire Mesh

Nickel alloy wire mesh includes Hatelloy wire mesh, Inconel wire mesh, Nichrome wire mesh, and Monel wire mesh.
These materials are all nickel-based alloys, and the main alloy elements are copper, chromium, and molybdenum. It has good comprehensive performance, can resist various acid corrosion and stress corrosion, and has good high temperature resistance.

Inconel wire mesh and Nichrome wire mesh have outstanding high temperature resistance, and Hastelloy wire mesh and Monel wire mesh have strong corrosion resistance.

Hastelloy Wire Mesh

Material of nickel alloy wire mesh

Nichrome wire mesh, such as Cr20Ni80 wire mesh, the main components are 20% Cr and 80% nickel, which are heat-resistant alloys
Inconel wire mesh, such as Inconel600 wire mesh, the main components are 73Ni-15Cr-Ti,Al, which are heat-resistant alloys
Hastelloy wire mesh, such as Hastelloy C-276 wire mesh, the main components are 56Ni-16Cr-16Mo-4W, which are corrosion-resistant alloys
Monel alloy wire mesh, such as Monel 400 wire mesh, the main components are 65Ni-34Cu, which are corrosion-resistant alloys

Weave type of nickel alloy wire cloth

Plain weave: Each warp wire crosses and passes up and down each weft wire, the warp wire and weft wire are at a 90-degree angle, the holes are square and uniform in size.
Twill weave: Each warp wire crosses and passes up and down every 2 weft wire, the warp wire and weft wire are at a 90-degree angle, the holes are square, compared with plain weave, the wire diameter is larger and the mesh surface can be thicker.
Plain Dutch weave: Each warp wire crosses and passes up and down each weft wire, and each weft wire crosses and passes up and down each warp wire.
Twill Dutch weave: Each warp wire crosses and passes up and down every 2 wefts wire, and each weft wire crosses and passes up and down every 2 warp wire.
Dutch weave can achieve finer holes, the finest Hastelloy wire mesh and Monel wire mesh can reach 20 micron hole.

Mesh size of nickel alloy wire mesh

Mesh count: The mesh count of the nickel alloy filter mesh refers to the number of mesh holes per inch in length.
Usually “mesh” is used as a unit, such as 20 mesh, 40 mesh, etc. The larger the mesh number, the smaller the mesh hole and the higher the filtering accuracy.
Aperture: The aperture refers to the size of each mesh hole in the filter mesh.
The size of the aperture directly affects the filtering accuracy and flow rate of the filter.
Generally, the smaller the aperture, the higher the filtering accuracy, but at the same time it will lead to a decrease in flow rate.
Wire diameter: The wire diameter refers to the diameter of the metal wire in the wire mesh.
The size of the wire diameter directly affects the strength and durability of the filter.
Generally, the larger the wire diameter, the higher the strength of the filter, but at the same time it will lead to an increase in cost.
There is a direct relationship between the mesh count and the aperture.
The conversion relationship between count and aperture is mesh count = 25.4/(aperture+wire diameter).
For example, 60 mesh Monel 400 wire mesh, 0.15mm wire diameter, the aperture is (25.4/60)-0.15=0.2733mm
80 mesh Hastelloy c276 wire cloth, 0.12mm wire diameter, the aperture is (25.4/80)-0.12=0.1975mm
Please note this conversion is only valid for plain and twill weave mesh.

The stock mesh size of Hastelloy wire mesh, Inconel wire mesh, Monel wire mesh, and Nichrome wire mesh is from 2 mesh to 200 mesh.

Wire mesh filter/disc
Nickel alloy wire mesh can be processed into round, square, rectangular, and special-shaped mesh. Special needs can be customized according to customer samples or drawings.
Wire mesh tube
Made of single-layer or multi-layer metal mesh, the number of layers and the mesh count of the wire mesh are determined according to different use conditions and purposes, with high concentricity, high pressure resistance, good straightness, and long service life.
Customized according to customer drawings or samples.
Sintered wire mesh
Monel wire mesh can be processed into Monel sintered wire mesh and Monel sintered mesh filter element. and Hastelloy wire mesh can be processed into Hastelloy sintered wire mesh.
Wire mesh basket
Nichrome wire mesh can be processed into Nichrome wire mesh basket, Inconel wire mesh can be processed into Inconel mesh baskets.
